Bhima Army chief Chandrasekhar Azad was arrested in front of Jama Masjid after protesting against the Citizenship Amendment Act.

He joined the Jama Masjid protest on Friday (January 7), just hours after he was released on bail on Thursday. Standing beside his supporters, the premier of the constitution is Shonan Chandrasekhar.  Earlier, Chandrasekhar referred to the controversial citizenship law as black law.

At this moment, there is no other important task than to unite the country," he said. Peaceful protests are our strength. People of different faiths, who support us, should join us in large numbers. So that the government can prove that Muslims are not the only ones in the protests.

There are people of all faiths. ”The Bhim Army chief has obtained special permission from the court to visit Jama Masjid.   

The Delhi High Court on Thursday granted Chandrashekhar Azad Azad bail. However, the court directed that Azad would not be able to attend any protest in the capital until the Delhi elections. Despite the instructions, Azad went to the mosque after being released.

The reason for coming here is to protest against the CAA and the NRC and to tell people that this black law cannot be imposed on us," he said from the demonstration. During this time, Jama Masjid will also visit the Karbala and Bangla Sahib gurudwara, which is the head of the Bhima Army.
